We require that all VacationPads.com members validate their email address for primarily three reasons:

• You are validating that the email address is accurate and is actually in-use.
• Email confirmation also prevents "email spoofing" where someone may attempt to register using an email address that is not their own.
• It's also extremely important that we validate that you are able to receive emails from VacationPads. All emails sent via the site (including rental inquiries for owners) will be sent to this email address.
