When you upload photographs for you listing, two things happen:

1. A "thumbmail" image is generated for the uploaded picture (this is the small image that is displayed in search results, browse results, and your listing's photo gallery)
2. Your original image is resized to a maximum of 395x395 pixels (this is the full-sized image that appears in the listing's photo gallery)

The VacationPads Photo Management System will only scale-down pictures that are greater than 395x395 pixels; any uploaded photographs that are smaller than this size will not be resized by the system. When we scale-down photographs, the image quality can be retained and a goodlooking full-sized picture can be generated. However, if a very small (thumbnail-sized) image is provided as the source image during upload, scaling-up would cause a drastic distortion of the image such that it is almost unrecognizable.

If you see that some of your pictures in "full-size" view are not any larger than the generated thumbnail image, you'll want to check the source image (the one you uploaded) to verify that this is, in fact, a fairly large image.
