Wouldn?t you like to wake up each morning to this view of beautiful Donner Lake? Virtually, every window is our home has a view similar to this one. Why would you want to stay anywhere else? Go ahead, look around at the other vacation rentals homes that are available at Donner Lake (not just Truckee) but NONE of them are as clean, as nice, or have these awesome views! Beware: many of my competitors list their homes with Donner Lake addresses but make no mistake about it, Tahoe Donner, Incline Village, Northstar, and most of Truckee are not a 5 minute walk to Donner Lake?a twenty-minute drive, maybe but not 5 minutes!
In addition, our house is newly remodeled, super clean, and very homey! The downstairs bedroom has a new queen bed, the master bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a cute trundle bed with two twin mattresses that CAN be made into a king bed. The family room has a new leather swivel recliner and large leather couch with recliners on each side. The kitchen and dining room have been completely remodeled with new counter tops, new wood floors, new refrigerator, windows, and kitchen sink.

· Fully functional kitchen with dishwasher, microwave & conventional oven, pots & pans, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, and cooking & eating utensils.
· Brand new woodstove will make your stay warm and cozy
· Forced-air heating
· Large deck with breath-taking views of Donner Lake and the mountains beyond
· 3-bedrooms/2-full bathrooms (we prefer a maximum of 6 but MAY make an exception to accommodate a maximum of 8. Under NO condition do we permit any more than 8 guests!!!)
· NO pets or smoking in, on, or around our property...PERIOD!!!
· When applicable, we allow a maximum of 4 adults and 4 children (exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis).

Do you prefer cooking with propane (natural gas)? We've got it!!! Our kitchen is fully functional and laundry services are provided. We also provide a gas bbq; imagine relaxing on the deck (with the above, awesome view bbq-ing your favorite meal...does it get any better than this?)

Talk about convenient! Our house is literally 8 minutes off I-80 and the Donner Lake Road exit. Some rental homes in Truckee are 30-plus minutes from the freeway. Why spend another half-hour in your car after driving all day? Donner Lake is a 10-minute walk and old town Truckee is a 5-minute drive. Boreal, Donner Ski Ranch, and Sugar Bowl are 15 to 20 minutes away. Squaw Valley is 25 minutes and Reno is about 35 minutes away.
During the late spring, summer, and early fall months, boating, fishing, swimming, and relaxing at Donner Lake is awesome! You'd like, jet ski rentals are available near one of the local beaches...they are a BLAST!!! |
