Per the Terms of Service Agreement you are advised to thoroughly investigate a property and its owner and/or manager prior to remittance of payment. As with any Internet service, please use caution and best judgement when transferring funds (especially wire transfers) to an unknown individual or business. VacationPads always advises renters to NEVER send money via wire transfers (especially Western Union) when the relationship between parties is not familiar and previously established. Should you receive a request for payment via wire transfer as the sole option, please notify VacationPads Support immediately by emailing support@vacationpads.com. When in doubt, you may want to request references and/or utility bills for additional peace-of-mind.
