Cool Oceanfront Surfer's Cottage, North Shore

The beach cottage (Hale Ike) is on an acre private residence on the North Shore of Oahu between the towns of Kahuku and Laie. The place is very cool and designed by an architect with a great ocean view from the bedroom and living room and has a big full kitchen and bathroom.

By car it?s 10 minutes to Pipeline and 5 minutes to Turtle Bay about 1 hour from Honolulu on a very quiet part of the island. 20 second walk through the back yard to the beach, 30 seconds to the surf.

Some things the house has:
· High Speed wireless so feel free to bring your laptop.

· Cell phones work well on this part of the island.

· Towels, sheets, beach chairs, little stereo, portable cooler, washer and dryer are all here for you to use.

It's very nice and I think you'll be very happy with your decision with Hale Ike over a more conventional hotel/resort. If you are looking for the resort pool setting, it?s just up the street at Turtle Bay and they allow you to enjoy the pool area as long as you are spending money and the outdoor bar/stores.
