Your 40th Street retreat will be your vacation dream come true. This one level home on pilings offers a tropical vacation atmosphere with an open floor plan, spacious kitchen with hardwood floors, island bar, dining room, a cozy and relaxing living room and large spacious bedrooms. The master awaits you with a elegant king size bed, an entertainment center with flat screen TV and DVD player and a walk out deck for early morning coffee and island breezes. The master bathroom is spacious with a 6' whirlpool tub, separate 5' dual head shower with two sitting benches, a dual sink countertop and a private water closet. The 2nd guest room is a queen high bed and this room offers a 13" TV with built in VCR. This room also has deck access to the back. The 3rd guest room is ideal for the kids. A bunk bed with a double bed base, a single bed top and single air mattress. Corner entertainment center offers a 20" TV with a game boy advance system and a dvd player. There is a 4th room adjoining the enclosed garage that is heated and cooled. This Tiki room host a single bed, a karaoke system and 12 in 1 table top for fun games for the entire family. There is a single car garage and a wonderful and spacious outdoor hot and cold water shower! The best part of your vacation will be rocking on the front porch and hearing the ocean that is less than 1/4 mile away as you enjoy the tropical palm trees and porch fans that will have you and your family coming back the "40th Street Retreat" year after year!
RENTERS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN TOWELS AND TOILETRIES. Linens for the beds will be provided. There is a cleaning service available for a fee. Rental contract will state terms for cleaning if you elect for this service. Upon your departure in preparation for the next guest you will be asked to leave the home as you found it. This is a privately owned and operated unit, and this allows us to keep the rent lower.

| The house is an easy walk to the beach with sidewalks however there is great parking on 4Oth at the direct beach access at the beach store. We have 4 beach bikes provided for your use! |

| We hope that you will treat our home like your home! There is a NO Smoking POLICY ON Premises! Dogs under 30 lbs are allowed with proper deposits, however, OKI has a leash law that is strictly enforced. We hope you will respect that we prefer your sweet four legged friend to be house broken and flea less! NO CATS - Sorry! Owners child has a terrible cat allergy! The beds sleep 8 great - there is room in the master closet for an air bed as well as lots of space in the Tiki room for sleeping bags! The home is for sale and all efforts for your rental vacation will be made. |

| Oak Island really has it all and you will never need to leave the island once you are there! There is a Food Lion less than 2 miles away and tons of excellent restaurants. Golf lovers can tee up at the Oak Island Country Club course and for those that prefer putt putt you can enjoy the Oak Island Jungle Golf and arcade. Ice Cream is everywhere! There is always a line at the Dairy Queen or you can enjoy homemade ice cream and OKI local entertainment at the Leaky Teaky Ice Cream Parlor. Coffee shops are not hard to find either! For those that want to work out the Parks and Rec is bike ride away and they offer a gym, yoga classes and lots of outdoor adventures including kayak tours and fishing adventures! Sea Turtle hatchlings are huge part of OKI. Visit the parks and rec to see if there are any nest hatchlings scheduled and enjoy a night of nest watching - volunteers are always welcome! Bike riding is always a blast along the intercoastal waterway or rent jet ski's and play in the Intercoastal waterway! There are scooter and 3 wheel rentals on the island as well! No matter what you are seeking for your vacation OKI will have it! Beach music dances to quiet evening walks on the beautiful beach this NC secret has it all! |

| This house is not CHILD PROOFED for infants, however, it is perfect for families of all ages! The house has board games and puzzles, bikes and kites! Beach chairs are available as well as beach balls and beach games! |
