| VacationPads makes every attempt to keep its system running and functional. However, there may be times when the system is either manually or inadvertently brought down. Power failures, server malfunctioning, network unavailability, and software/security updates and upgrades are examples of why the VacationPads Site may be brought down. The following policy guides the processes and procedures VacationPads follows under such circumstances. |
| What is an outage? |
| An outage is defined as any period of time during which the site is generally unavailable to any and all users on the Internet. Individual losses of access to the Site due to browser malfunctioning or problems related to your ISP are not covered by this policy. Services that expire during or after the outage period are covered by this policy; services that expire prior to an outage are not covered by this policy. |

| Outage Periods and Adjustments |
| OUTAGES OF ONE HOUR OR LESS |
| No credits will be applied. |
| OUTAGES OF MORE THAN ONE HOUR, BUT LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO TWO HOURS |
Listings that are active and non-expired will have their expiration date extended by 12 hours.
Deals/Last Minute Specials advertisements will have their expiration date extended by 12 hours.
No adjustments will be made to the expirations of Featured Property advertisements. However, the listing that is currently featured in the Featured Property advertisement at the time of the outage will have its expiration extended by 24 hours in addition to the outages adjustment for the actual listing. |
| OUTAGES OF MORE THAN TWO HOURS, BUT LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO FOUR HOURS |
Listings that are active and non-expired will have their expiration date extended by 24 hours.
Deals/Last Minute Specials advertisements will have their expiration date extended by 24 hours.
No adjustments will be made to the expirations of Featured Property advertisements. However, the listing that is currently featured in the Featured Property advertisement at the time of the outage will have its expiration extended by 48 hours in addition to the outages adjustment for the actual listing. |
| OUTAGES OF MORE THAN FOUR HOURS |
Listings that are active and non-expired will have their expiration date extended by 48 hours.
Deals/Last Minute Specials advertisements will have their expiration date extended by 48 hours.
No adjustments will be made to the expirations of Featured Property advertisements. However, the listing that is currently featured in the Featured Property advertisement at the time of the outage will have its expiration extended by 72 hours in addition to the outages adjustment for the actual listing. |

| The site goes down at 5:12PM EST on December 1, 2003 and is restored at 7:14PM EST on December 1, 2003. The following adjustments would be made: |

| During an outage |
| Our systems are continually
monitored for downtime. If an outage occurs, an
announcement will be posted in the Community's General
Announcements section of the site. The announcement
will post the duration of the outage as well as
which outage policy (described above) will be applied
to active services. |

| The Outages Policy is offered as a courtesy to VacationPads customers. VacationPads reserves the right to change or abandon this policy at any time without advance notice. |
